Colle and Ozzy met online in December of 2021, while living across the country from each other (Missouri and California). They quickly became best friends, getting to know each other despite the distance and talking every day. Ozzy flew to meet Colle for the first time several months later, and they instantly fell head over heels. Not knowing yet how possible it would be, they began dating long distance the next month, in August of 2022. It was hard to know how this relationship would succeed, but they didn't let fear or distance hold them back from love. They flew back and forth to spend time together as often as possible. Ozzy and Colle made the decision to move in together in California, closing that 3000 mile distance between them, in July of 2023. Zuzu, one of their kitties, did the drive with them and became an official California cat, along with her sisters, Gourd and Fig. Since then, Ozzy and Colle have lived happily in California. Ozzy proposed on New Year's Eve of 2024, and Colle excitedly said yes. They have traveled to multiple states together and love to go to festivals and concerts on occasion. Date nights always involve going to the movies or enjoying the West Coast sunshine. Mostly, though, they spend their days eating good food with good friends and appreciating how wonderfully life worked out for them.
